When you register an account we collect your email address, display name, and the role you select. When you create event, business, or job listings we store the content you submit. We also collect standard server access logs including IP addresses and browser information for security and performance purposes.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to operate and improve the platform, send you transactional emails (account verification, event registration confirmations, listing status updates), and respond to your support enquiries. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Cookies
We use httpOnly cookies to maintain your login session. These cookies are essential for the platform to function and do not track you across third-party websites. No advertising or analytics cookies are set by default.
4. Data storage
Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure using D1 (SQLite) databases and R2 object storage. Cloudflare operates data centres globally. By using this platform you consent to your data being processed in accordance with Cloudflare's data processing terms.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights please contact us at hello@chinaexpos.com. You may also delete your account from your account settings page.
6. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services which may process your data: Cloudflare (infrastructure, DDoS protection), MailChannels (transactional email delivery), and optionally Stripe (payment processing for featured listings). Each service has its own privacy policy.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
